![]() Now you have isolated/separated that section and can apply a clip speed to it. 2.) Next, set your grey Playhead thingy to an end position, then click the Split icon again. 1.) Set your grey Playhead thingy to a start position, then click the Split icon in the tiny, practically hidden, tool section just above the track section in the upper left (see image). Here is the answer I believe sehrio was looking for: To Apply a Clip Speed to a small section of a track, you need to isolate/separate that section of your track using the Split function. UPDATED: Just spoke to someone at TechSmith. Thanks for posting and have a great day/night. Do not give up or get mad so easily and upload a video if you would want to so others can see what you are doing and may be able to offer other suggestions that might work or might not. Sorry you feel that these are not productive methods but in actuality they are and it is time consuming. I would be interested in seeing a video of what you are doing and explaining what exactly you want to accomplish or would like to see for changes as that may help to explain it more with a visual. ![]() Anytime you speed up or slow down a video with an audio track locked and delete either it is going to look out of sync from my experiences when doing so and editing is not something that comes quickly with any video or audio as it takes time and patience. ![]() You asked how something was done and they gave their suggestions of how it can be done. Not a great thing but was easier than trying to get it corrected. The longer the video and the more effects and fancy things one would use can also make video go out of sync and requires more editng times and sometimes a whole new recording which I have had to do in the past. And kayakman has made many videos over the years and so have I and sometimes video and audio do not get in correct sync and that is why we have to edit which is normal with most screen recording apps pending on how long the recording is for length of time and if a webcam is also being recorded with system sounds, etc. This should bypass the Getting Started screen. With all do respect serhioromano I can understand that it is not working the way you want it too but the suggestions given by others were the way it is done and may not seem effective enough but instead of getting mad you should make a suggestion of how you would like it to be.
